Joy to the World

Well, it’s been a bit of a break since my last post, but Joy is here to wish you a Merry Christmas!

I love Joy, as you can tell.  She’s the little toddler with attitude.  She made the perfect model for my angel ensemble, complete with removable angel wings.  Her long, pre-Raphaelite tresses were originally braids and she was dressed as a little Swedish girl.  By the time she came to me, little was left of her original costume and she was a very untidy girl.  I unbraided her hair and thoroughly washed her.  Her hair, after spending almost 50 years in braids, remain permanently waved.  I’m a bit in love with her, but she is getting ready to fly away, off to another home.  Check her out here.
