Time for some new things!

This weekend was great.  I had a chance to catch up with one of my best doll friends and we got to spend a few hours talking dolls and taking pictures.  The above photo was taken by my friend Allison and it is of her doll wearing one of my new outfits for Dianna Effner’s Little Darlings dolls.  I hope you’ll check them out in my shop.

Here is the set off the doll.  I am really loving the skirt.  So many uses for it!  I can imagine pairing it with a sweet sweater or even a fun graphic tee for a funky look.  Maybe with scrunched up socks and boots?  Anyway, the ensemble includes the raglan stretch velvet top and velvet headband along with the skirt.

Top it off!  This coat set was so fun to create.  Oh, if only I had a real little girl to sew one for…The beret has tiny Swarovski beads scattered around the ribbons and roses that you only see as the light catches them.

A golden dress lined in blue.

A blue dress…from a Liberty of London poplin Roberto’s Blooms which was inspired by 1960’s rose prints.  I’m completely in love with Liberty prints!  I wish they were easier to come by here in the States.

Playful Pandas….Found this AMAZING Japanese print.  The bright pastels, the crisp print all make me swoon.  Added a panda ear headband and pink knee socks for fun.

One more fancy dress!  A bright white brocade dress with furry collar and silver headband. I fell in love with this tiny brocade.  The scale is exceptional for dolls!  Could not believe my luck in finding it!

Anyway, these are a few of the things I’ve been working on.  I’ll let you in on a secret.  There are more on the way!  Stay tuned and thanks for looking!
